How to Use the Back Wall of a Small Galley Kitchen
If you have a small galley kitchen with a dead-end wall, you may be cursing the architect wondering what to do with that space. Often (as in our kitchen above) there's a fridge door gettin' in the way, but there are still a few ways you can use the wall!
Hang Some Art
Hang a set of prints or a narrow tapestry to add some colour and interest to the space. You can find affordable frames at your local thrift store, on Amazon, or at Walmart; and you can download super affordable digital prints from online marketplaces like Etsy. Hang Your Apron(s)

If you have a beautiful linen apron you'd like to display, pick up a cute hook (maybe something like this) and hang it as functional styling. It’ll be easily accessible when you need it, and will add some shape and texture to your small kitchen!
Hang Some Kitchen Items

If you have a few beautiful pans and/or cutting boards that are taking up too much space in a cupboard/drawer, consider hanging them up for another functional styling moment.
Add Some Shelves
If you don’t have a corner fridge crampin’ your style, you could add some shallow shelves to fill the space and add functional styling. The single shelf in the photo above lends a minimalist flare, whereas 2-3 shelves would fill out the wall and make the space kitchen feel cozier.
